This body of work explored a false sense of comfort and security through the uncanny that can stem from various environments such as the home, school or workplace and within relationships. Using synthetic materials that mimic typical elements of the home, the work represents a new sense of disconnection that is born from the shattering truth that a once perceived security was indeed misleading. The video consists of a man pulling out his nipple hair, exploring varying degrees in which people perceive normality and comfort.
